2006
KS Chia & Associates began its professional journey in Kuala Lumpur, officially registered as an approved audit firm (Firm No. AF001828) after securing both the Approved Auditor and Tax Agent licences from the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. From day one, we committed ourselves to delivering trusted auditing, taxation, and accounting services to businesses and the community.
2008
Embraced technology early by implementing professional audit and tax software, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and service quality for our clients.
2010
Reached an important growth milestone by serving a diverse portfolio of SMEs across manufacturing, trading, services, and technology sectors.
2017
Strengthened information security and workflow efficiency by adopting a Synology network-attached storage (NAS) system for centralized digital document management, supporting compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
2020-2021
Successfully transitioned to digital workflows during pandemic. Implemented cloud-based solutions and client portals for seamless remote collaboration.
2023-2024
Implemented ISQM 1 (International Standard on Quality Management) following its effective date of 15 December 2022, reinforcing our dedication to audit quality, risk management, and continuous improvement.
2025
Supported clients in the transition to MBRS-XBRL digital financial statement reporting, effective 1 June 2025, by providing expert guidance and technical preparation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Expanded our professional team to 25 members to meet growing client demands and strengthen service capacity.
